Winnetka ‘Home Alone’ house on the market for $2.4 million

This 4,250 square foot Georgian home in Winnetka–which Kevin McAllister once booby-trapped on Home Alone–is now on the market for the first time since the movie was filmed in 1990. The current owners paid $875,000 for the home back in 1980, and the home looks much like it did in the 90s classic movie, minus the Christmas decorations.

Walking into 671 Lincoln Avenue in Winnetka, future homeowners are promptly greeted by infamous staircase that Kevin once rode a sled down. Yet there’s features in this home that fans of Home Alone didn’t see, like the garden, outdoor greenhouse, and patio. Inside, the home includes four en suite bedrooms, including the upstairs attic bedroom. A full layout of the home can be seen here.
