The Chicago-based real estate firm, Rick Levin & Associates, Inc., will be auctioning off several commercial and residential properties located throughout Illinois and Wisconsin.

A developer is looking to sell 22 beautiful luxury condominiums in an auction on July 31st, so as to save the time and expense of putting them all on the market. In auctioning these new units off, the developer will be passing the savings onto the customer.

The number of local construction contracts for both residential and commercial buildings have been on the rise in the Chicago area during the four months of the year. From January through April, the cost of new contracts totaled $1.45 billion, representing a 14% increase over last year at this time.

There’s been a lot of attention to nationwide foreclosures in the news lately. The number of foreclosures is up this month, and looks pretty drastic.
