Billy Corgan Cuts Condo Price

Smashing Pumpkins front man Billy Corgan has reduced the asking price of his vintage Gold Coast condominium to $3.55 million. He bought the space in 2002 for $2.95 million. Corgan has dropped the asking price from $5.5 million in September 2008 to $4.35 million in April, and then $3.875 million in October.

The songwriter’s 3,700 square foot renovated condo occupies an entire floor of 20 E. Burton Place, which is in the prime Gold Coast neighborhood. There are 9 units in the building, which was built in 1892 and has been completely renovated.

Corgan’s six-room condo includes two spacious bedrooms, 2 ½ baths, a reception room, library, and an oak-paneled living room. There is even more to enjoy of this condo on the private balcony and large terrace. This home features wood-burning fireplaces, walnut parquet floors, and 10’ ceilings.
