Best Bars in Lincoln Park

Looking for an excellent place to get some drinks and kick back after a long week? Check out a few of my picks for the best bars in Lincoln Park:

Best Atmosphere

Delilah’s — 2771 N. Lincoln

Delilah’s has been a staple of the punk scene in Chicago for years, but it is also a great spot to just hang out and get a drink. The bartenders are extremely friendly and it’s the only place I’ve seen polo shirts elbowing with Mohawks! They also serve over 400 kinds of whiskey, so you certainly won’t leave thirsty.

Best Deal

ROCKS Lincoln Park — 1301 W. Schubert Ave.

Bars around the city offer so many specials sometimes it’s difficult to pick the one for you. If you like martinis, I have the answer: ROCKS Lincoln Park on Thursday nights. You can choose between the killer Diablo martini (vodka with two bleu cheese-stuffed olives), the deliciously sweet chocolate martini, or many other creations—all for only $5!

Best Date Spot

AliveOne — 2683 N. Halsted

AliveOne sets the mood with warm lighting and excellent tunes. With an expansive beer list and delectable cocktails, everyone is bound to find something to love in this swank spot. Its great location also makes it a wonderful after-dinner location when you just don’t want the night to end.

Best Local Beer Selection

Goose Island Brewery — 1800 N. Clybourn

This great bar/brewery/restaurant is the perfect place for a date or a serious beer tasting. Goose Island produces a bunch of craft beer—best know are the 312 Urban Wheat Ale and Honker’s Ale—and they also serve excellent food!

Best Food

Gaslight Bar and Grille — 2426 N. Racine

You may be asking why food is of concern on a list of bars, but sometimes you need a break from your beer! Gaslight has the best classy bar food in Lincoln Park. The fish tacos are out of this world. For those of you who need meat, though, the Montana steak wrap is beyond good!
